Minister of Justice Salim Jreissati Saturday banned singer Myriam Klink’s latest music video, seen as provocative, one day after he held a meeting with Minister of Information Melhem Riachi over the matter.

A press statement from Jreissati’s office announced that displaying, distributing, or circulating the music video online was strictly prohibited.

Violating the decision will result in a LL50 million ($33,105) penalty.

Judge Roland Chartouni later on Saturday issued the same ruling, the National News Agency reported.

Riachi contacted Jreissati regarding the video Friday, citing its sexual explicitness and its inclusion of a child as a form of “exploitation.”

The controversial pop singer’s latest video for her new song, “Goal,” went viral overnight across several social media platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.

The music video also features Lebanese singer Jad Khalife.
